The hamlet of Iet-y-Bontpren is located to the west of Dinas with the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path at the foot of the hill, the imposing seascape of Dinas Head and the family beaches at Cwm-Y-Eglwys and Pwllgwaelod close by and Fishguard some 3 miles away.
The cottage is located on the A487 at the edge of the village in half an acre – with lawn, garden table and chairs, a natural spring and streams – in a woodland setting, the garden has rhododendrons, camellias, and a variety of flowering shrubs, with a large enclosed fishpond.
Accommodation:
- A large, comfortable extended Welsh Stone Farm Cottage dating back 400 years with all the modern features required to achieve the four star rating from the national tourist board with full double glazing and oil central heating throughout
- The lounge is full of original character, with beamed ceiling, stone fireplace and open fire. There is a comfortable settee and easy chairs and a 32 in Sony TV connected to Sky freeview.
- The kitchen area has fitted units, electric hob, built in oven, microwave, Dualit toaster and dishwasher. The dining area contains a large oak Anglesey welsh dresser and a 17th Century dresser base with Freesat TV, a dining table and seating for 6.
- A sun lounge extends off the kitchen and overlooks the rear garden, this has a large dining table and 6 chairs
- The utility room has an automatic washing machine, tumble drier, fridge/freezer and ample storage for coats and boots
- The ground floor bathroom has a corner bath, with overhead electric shower, bidet, wash hand basin and W.C. Upstairs there are three bedrooms
- The master bedroom has a king size bed and an ensuite which has a bath, separate shower, wash hand basin and W.C.
- Two additional bedrooms are part of the original cottage providing one double and one twin bedded room, both with vanity units, ample cupboards and sloping ceilings
- A Z bed is available on request for an additional child. Pretty bed linen is provided for the beds which have duvets
- Children and babies are welcome. A travel cot and highchair are provided on request.
