The traditional Welsh stone farm cottages have been fully modernised to provide excellent facilities and benefit from great family kitchens and dining areas, comfortable lounges with winter log fires, well presented bedrooms with duvets and pretty linens with ample storage for clothes. All cottages have washing and drying facilities. There are modern entertainment systems including Broadband, Wi-Fi, flat screen HD TV, Radio and using your own computer you can access your own entertainment package through Sky Go and Virgin TV Anywhere.

The bungalow (Otter Cottage) is more modern and has been unobtrusively adapted to suit both able bodied and disabled visitors – with a wheelchair ramp via the garage and wide corridors, doorways to help movement around the cottage.

There are lots of activities all within reach in Pembrokeshire and further afield in Wales. Local towns include Newport with sailing and golf and gentle walks; Fishguard with shops, pubs and the ferry to Ireland; St Davids with bijou shops, galleries and a fabulous cathedral and Narberth with a great selection of shops, restaurants and a spectacular Spanish delicatessen. Then there is Tenby, Cardigan and many more.

Sports available include golf, fishing, cycling, walking, swimming, plus coasteering along the beaches and cliffs. All four cottages are within a short walk of the National Trust coastline and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path with well over 150 miles to explore! If you walk out along the Coastal Path the Puffin Shuttle or Poppit Rocket and other buses will bring you home (or vice versa). Bird watching is magnificent in Pembrokeshire with spectacular days out available at Skomer Island for puffins and many sea birds.

Puffin Skomer

A visit north to Aberystwyth, in season, you can see the starling murmuration and roost beneath the pier. In Bwlch Nant yr Arian Forest Visitor Centre you can see the Red Kite being fed daily. The picturesque town of Aberaeron is en route.

North of Cardigan on the coast is Mwnt with dolphins to watch in the Bay. A little closer to the cottages is Strumble Head lighthouse. It is a great place to see the seals and their young in September and October.

The whole area has good restaurants, fish and chip shops and pubs galore – with two pubs and a new cafe a short walk away in Dinas Cross village. A visit to our family favourite The Shed at Porthgain is a must!

All of our cottages are graded by Visit Wales and are regularly audited. Janet and Kelly clean and present the cottages with freshly laundered bed linen and a Welcome Package (including tea, coffee and Welsh Cakes) for your arrival. We do not permit smoking in the cottages.

We know that you will find the cottages comfortable, peaceful and restful. We have even had a request from recent guests for full details of the new bed they used and they went home and bought one!

Please come! We would love to welcome you.
